22 September 2020: Cases confirmed at the University of Exeter. Devon Live.

25 September 2020: Exeter University state “Today, we know from Public Health England that of the 58 cases reported in Devon over the past seven days a little over half are attributable to the University. In Cornwall, there are less than five cases at the university.” Cornwall Live.

25 September 2020: “The University of Exeter has confirmed that it has had a number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 at its Cornwall campus. In a statement issued on social media the university said that the Penryn campus had “fewer than five cases”.”  Falmouth Packet.

26 September 2020: Exeter University: “More than half of the COVID-19 cases in Devon are linked to Exeter Uni. There have been 58 cases reported in the last seven days.” The Tab.

1 October 2020: “An ‘alarming’ number of students at the University of Exeter are testing positive for coronavirus, the council has said. …. The exact number has not been confirmed, but it is believed that there at least 60 student houses of multiple occupation off campus that are self-isolating, in addition to others in halls of residence.” Devon Live.

5 October 2020: Around 70 cases at University of Exeter. The Scottish Sun.

5 October 2020: Exeter University: “Nearly 300 cases have been confirmed in the last three days in Exeter – most linked to the University – as clusters grow.” Exeter are not providing numbers of confirmed cases amongst their population, but this article analyses the public PHE data, which includes 127 cases in the Pennsylvania & University area. Devon Live.

7 October 2020: Exeter University: “The Tab Exeter asked students in a poll on Instagram if they had tested positive for Covid-19, in which 12% voted for “Yes” with over 300 votes, whilst the other 88% which accounted for 2,296 students voted for “No.”” The Tab.

28 October 2020: Exeter University start publishing numbers for new positive cases. 65 students and 1 staff tested positive from 19 October to 24 October. According to UCU there have been 850 cases up to 24 October.

28 October 2020: Exeter: A further 19 cases from 25 October to 27 October brings the running total to 869.
