26 September 2020: Sheffield Hallam: “We are aware of fewer than 10 positive tests amongst our student community. None of these students have been onto the University campus. A similar number of students are self-isolating following official advice to do so.” The Star.

6 October 2020: “The neighbouring Sheffield Hallam University said it had recorded 373 cases in the last two weeks. It is also taking action over the next two weeks by increasing online teaching, but is keeping some teaching going on the campus.” BBC.

12 October 2020: Sheffield Hallam release their latest numbers. For the week 5 October to 11 October, there were 422 students and 13 staff testing positive, for a total of 749 students and  15 staff positive in the last two weeks.

19 October 2020: Sheffield Hallam report 22 staff and 625 students testing positive over the two week 5 October to 18 October; 209 students and 9 staff in the last week; for a total of 958 students and 24 staff in the last three weeks.
