It said “a very small number of students” have tested positive for covid-19, but did not release an exact number. This came after a University of Bristol student in self-isolation contacted BristolLive and claimed there were 140 students in self-isolation across the University.” Bristol Post.

9 October 2020: Bristol University: “The Courtrooms hall of residence in Bristol City Centre has gone into lockdown, Bristol Uni has announced. 40 students have tested positive for COVID-19 in the Courtrooms, meaning that the whole hall – around 300 students – will be restricted to their Living Circles (or “bubbles”) for 14 days.” The Tab.
